Project description

Various repair and renovation work was carried out on the listed school buildings. The range of planned and executed work included the restoration of shingle, slate, flat and gable roofs during the refurbisment of the rector’s home to improving handicap accessibility, renovation of a sports hall floor and window renovations.

All measures were performed during normal school operations. Speical attention was given to consideration of school activities among others in the planning and execution of the (noisy) construction work.

Some hazardous building substances such as AMF, asbestos and PAH had to be removed or secured. This work was coordinated by us with the assistance of hazardous building substance professionals.

Many of the buidlings are listed in the historic monument register.
The proposed measures were planned and carried out in close coordination with the responsible authorities and necessary testing, evaluations and damage surveys were performed.

Despite some difficult conditions all construction projects were completed on schedule and within given budgets.
